本協會以高雄市行政區域為組織區域。本協會的任務如下：
The association to Kaohsiung administrative area for the organization area. The Association’s mission is as follows:
協助政府建立完善的流浪動物收容中心。
To assist the government to establish a sound stray animal shelter.
推動並落實動物保護法。
To promote and implement animal protection laws. 推廣流浪動物節育工作，避免自然繁殖，使生命受到更多傷害，造成政府經費的負擔。
Popularize the stray animals birth control work so as to avoid natural breeding and cause more harm to life, resulting in a burden on the government funds. 推展流浪動物之認養工作。
To promote the adoption of stray animals. 推廣正確飼養動物的觀念。
To promote the correct concept of animal husbandry. 協助政府推行政令。
Assist the government in implementing the government decree.
